Marousek, Smith, Wiley heading to in-state D-III schools

Three North Royalton senior football players have solidified plans to continue their athletic careers at the next level.

Jack Marousek is heading to the College of Wooster, Austin Smith selected Baldwin Wallace University and Collin Wiley plans to attend Marietta College.

All three schools are Division III programs. The Fighting Scots play in the North Coast Athletic Conference while B-W and Marietta are members of the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Marousek was a first-year starting quarterback for the Bears. He threw 16 touchdowns as he went 129-of-232 for 1,555 yards.

Smith, a third-year varsity contributor, rushed for a team-high 806 yards and nine TDs. He racked up 1,534 all-purpose yards.

Wiley carried the ball and was a standout last fall as a defensive back.
