The Boys Varsity Cross Country Team competed at the Medina Cross Country Festival on Saturday, October 7th.
Top finishers in the Boys Varsity Cross Country Team Varsity Division were Junior Jacob Clark finished 34th overall with a time of 17:28. Sophomore Robert Burrows finished 59th overall with a time of 17:52. Senior Matthew Compan finished 61st overall with a time of 17:55. Other varsity finishers were Sophomore Brody Shields 17:56 (64th), Senior Robert Menon 18:07 (74th), Junior Eric Bodily 18:13 (77th), Junior Justin Franczak 18:17 (82nd), Senior Nolan Pierce 18:27 (92nd), and Sophomore Nicholas Poplin 18:51 (116th). The Bears Varsity Team finished in 10th place out of 24 teams.
Top finishers in the Boys Varsity Cross Country Team Open Division were Junior Jeffrey Kozik 19:35 (39th), Sophomore Nick Zajac 19:39 (43rd) and Senior Nathen Rush 19:41 (45th). The Bears Open Team finished in 7th place out of 17 teams.
