Stuff The Bus Event!

Stuff the Bus is a one day event, but prior to that date, the North Royalton High School football team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the North Royalton Middle School Chain Links Club, and St. Albert the Great’s eighth grade confirmation students will be collecting donations and gently used coats of all sizes to store them for the big day. On Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 between 9 am and 2 pm, student volunteers will be at the North Royalton Board of Education Building (6579 Royalton Road) taking coats and monetary donations from donors who can simply drive through the parking lot. The students will then fill the bus with the coat donations that will drive to Twinsburg where they will be handed over to the WTAM 1100am Coats for Kids coordinator. After the coats are cleaned, the Salvation Army will distribute the coats at the Wolstein Center in mid-December. This project is truly a team effort involving all aspects of the community, including some local businesses such as Lake Erie Graphics, Ace Hardware, Automotive Excellence and Royalton Auto Service that will collect coats or provide some additional help or service for the event. This is a great opportunity for North Royalton and Broadview Heights residents to come together to do some good, as over the past two years North Royalton has collected almost 9,000 coats and just under $5500. “This year we hope to exceed the last, and with all the support we are receiving from the community, I have no doubt this will happen.”
Help us stuff the school bus with new and gently worn coats, and cash to benefit the kids of Northeast Ohio.

The North Royalton Athletic Boosters are sponsoring our annual Gold Card Blitz Day on Saturday, August 13, 2016.
Last year this event raised over $15,000 for uniforms, stipends, and equipment for NR Middle and High School sports teams and cheerleaders. This fundraiser is a credit card sized discount card for local businesses and restaurants.
Our goal this year is to have participation from every team, including all winter and spring teams. All money raised goes directly back to support sports and cheerleading programs. Please encourage your student athletes to participate at this event. Here is a link to the condensed flyer for your athletes and parents if you would like to print and distribute it to your team.
Here are the details:
- Gold Card Blitz Day is Saturday, August 13th
- Student athletes and drivers are to meet in the NR HS cafeteria at 9:30 am
- Students will choose an area in which their group will drive to and sell cards door to door
- We ask coaches and/or parents to coordinate the student-athletes in cars with responsible drivers (preferably adults) for their own team
- Groups will leave the school by 10:00 am and return by noon
- Everyone should wear their NR uniform, team shirt or purple and gold
- Snacks and water will be provided
If your team or squad is unable to participate in the Blitz Day as we have scheduled, we would be happy to arrange to get Gold Cards to you so your athletes can sell them with your direction.
