On Tuesday, August 27th, the North Royalton 7th Grade Football Team travelled out to Cuyahoga Falls to play their season opener. The Bears dominated the line of scrimmage and cruised to a 16 to 0 shutout over the Tigers.

The defense caused havoc with numerous tackles for a loss, 4 sacks and 1 fumble recovery that was recovered by Carmine Rosario

It was much of the same on offense. The Bears ground attack rumbled for almost 200 yards coming up big on some key 4th down runs. Scoring for the bBears were Grady Baugh with a 15 yard TD run, Connor Rothschiller with a 12 yard run, and Logan Straight with 2 two-point conversions. Logan ran in for 3 yards on each. One of those was an assisted pass from Henry Schuld.

Great job Bears! The Bears next game is home at 4:30 PM next Tuesday, September 3rd against Stow on the Rock! GO BEARS!!
