On Tuesday, October 8th, the Boys 7th Grade Football Team travelled out to Macedonia to take on the Nordonia Knights. It was a hard fought game, but the Bears came up short and lost 20 to 14.

The Bears struck first scoring on a 43 yard touchdown catch and run by Nick Safranek thrown by Grady Baugh. Soon after, the Bears were down 20-6, but came roaring back late in the 4th quarter scoring on a 52 yard touchdown catch and run by Grady Baugh thrown by Ben Baracz. Then Connor Rothschiller added a two point conversion run to cap it off. The Bears had another chance to win the game, but fell short and lost. The Bears were resilient and held the Knights when it counted. The Bears did have a takeaway with Connor Rothschiller causing and recovering a fumble.

The Boys 7th Grade Football Team record is now at 3 wins, 3 losses and 1 tie. Come cheer them on as they travel to take on Copley Middle School on Tuesday, October 15th at 4:30 PM. GO BEARS!!
