On Tuesday, September 10th, the Boys 7th Grade Football Team hosted Twinsburg Chamberlain Middle School. It was a hard fought game where neither team wanted to break. The Bears definitely made it an exciting game until the end where they fell short by a final score of 8 to 6.

The Bears defense dominated with a fumble recovery by Mannix Wasco and an interception in the endzone by Nick Safranas. The offense was slow to start, however, with 2 and a half minutes left to go in the game, the Bears offense was ignited behind quarterback Joe Kinney who drove them 80 yards down the field to score with just 37 seconds left in the game on a 12 yard touchdown pass to Grady Baugh.

The 7th Grade Football Team wanted to say thanks to all who attended. And a special thanks to all the 4th graders who came up to cheer them on.

The Boys 7th Grade Football Team record is now at 1 win and 2 losses. Come cheer them on as they look to get back on the winning track and travel to take on Hudson Middle School on Tuesday, September 17th at 4:30 PM. GO BEARS!!
