On Monday April 9th, the Girls JV Softball Team traveled to take on Nordonia High School. Shannon Omalley had a number of quality at-bats on Monday, as she walked three times while leading Lady Bears to a 25-3 victory over Nordonia.

The Lady Bears got on the board in the first inning when an error scored two runs. The Lady Bears also notched notched ten runs in the fifth inning. The Lady Bears were led by Ashley Dlugolinski, Serena Mraz, Lexie Raus, Emily Hamilton, Alanna Condon, and Omalley, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Meaghan Stafford led things off on the rubber for the Lady Bears. She lasted five innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out three.

The Lady Bears totaled 17 hits. Hayley Dlugolinski, Mraz, Payton Maciak, Stafford, and Dlugolinski all managed multiple hits. Mraz and Dlugolinski ahad three hits each. the Lady Bears were also sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Dlugolinski had the most chances in the field with seven.
