On Saturday, September 15th, the Girls Varsity Cross Country Team participated in the McDonough Invitational hosted by Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School. The Bears scored 55 points to take first place out of 17 schools. Senior Juliette Rayer, Sophomore Lauren Devney, Junior Alex Doehrmann and Senior Jordan Saunders were top ten finishers.

Times for all varsity finishers were:

Juliette Rayer 21:21 (5th overall)
Lauren Devney 21:21 (6th overall)
Alex Doehrmann 21:44 (8th overall)
Jordan Saunders 21:47 (10th overall)
Mackenzie Morgan 22:30 (26th overall)
Megan Garnet 22:37 (27th overall
Jenna Fenohr 22:54 (33rd overall)

The Girls Open Team took second place overall with Freshman Bryna Walker leading the way with a time of 23:51 (2nd overall).

Great job girls! The Team will compete in the Todd Clark Invitational at Cloverleaf High School Saturday, September 22nd. GO BEARS!
