On Saturday, September 8th, the Girls Varsity Cross Country Team traveled to participate in the 28th Annual Bruce Lerch Cross Country Invitational at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. The Bears finished in 2nd place out of 16 teams in spite of the rainy weather and muddy course with 77 points. The Bears had six runners in the top 22. Jenna Fenohr, Juliet Rayer and Alex Doehrmann finished 11th, 12th and 13th respectively to lead the way for the Bears.

The Girls Open Team finished in 5th place overall. The top runner was Sophomore Natalie Rayer with a time of 23:40 good for 12th place.

Great job runners!. The next meet is the McDonough Invitational at Forest Hills Park on Saturday, September 15th. GO BEARS!!
