Girls Varsity Track · Girls Varsity Track Team Finishes in 2nd Place at Lakewood Ranger Relays


On Friday, April 12th, the Girls Varsity Track Team traveled to participate in the 2019 Lakewood Ranger Relays. The Bears finished in 2nd place out of 7 teams scoring 110 points. The Bears just missed winning the tournament as Rocky River finished with 112 points. The Bears scored in the following events.

Shot Put Relay – 3rd Place – Lizzy Nagy, Bella Sprunger & Julie Bleschmid
Discus Throw Relay – 2nd Place – Jordan Evanko, Hannah Prezenkowski & Bella Sprunger
High Jump Relay – 1st Place – Jaya Harris, Raigyn Houston & Claire Casey
Long Jump Relay – 1st Place – Brianna Knull, Amanda Ruffner & Mackenzie Williams
Pole Vault Relay – 1st Place – Jordan Starre, Diana Burban & Kylie Zabielski
4×1600 Meter Relay – 2nd Place
100 Meter Hurdles – 3rd Place – Claire Casey
Distance Medley – 4th Place
4×200 Meter Relay – 3rd Place
4×800 Meter Relay – 2nd Place
800 Sprint Medley – 2nd Place
3200 Meter Run – 1st Place – Alex Doerhrmann
4×100 Meter Relay – 2nd Place
4×400 Meter Relay – 2nd Place

Come cheer on the Girls Varsity Track Team as they travel to Stow High School to take on Suburban Conference rivals Stow High School, Cuyahoga Falls High School and Wadsworth High School on Thursday, April 18th at 4:00 PM. GO BEARS!!
