Good Day at Girls Cross Country State Meet

Claudia Mendek Finished 55th at Girls Cross Country State Meet The girls teams from Brunswick, Medina, Cloverleaf and Black River, along with Medina’s boys, all had nice days at National Trail Raceway in Hebron. Brunswick’s girls finished eighth in Division I, two spots ahead of Medina. Matching Brunswick’s finish, but in Division II, was Cloverleaf.

Girls Cross Country Just Missed State Meet

North Royalton’s girls got caught up in a numbers game at the Tiffin Division I Regional last weekend. There were five very good teams in the field and only four spots available for the state meet. Congratulations to Claudia Mendek for qualifying for the Girls Cross Country State Meet this coming Saturday, November 7th at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH.  Claudia finished in 15th place this past weekend at the Tiffin Regional.  Only the top 16 advanced to the State Meet. GO CLAUDIA MENDEK!!  GO BEARS!!

Girls Cross Country Narrowly Miss State And Finish 5th At Regionals

Girls Division I Tiffin Regional Results Brunswick’s girls narrowly missed winning the Tiffin Regional, placing four points behind Perrysburg in what was a very tight race from first through fifth. Perrysburg won with 104 points, followed by Brunswick (108), Toledo Notre Dame Academy (110) and Medina (114). North Royalton, with 121 points, narrowly missed advancing.

Cross Country Results at Medina D-I District

After finishing fourth at last weekend’s Medina D-I District, the girls team will take part in this weekend’s regional at Tiffin. Junior Megan Bowman’s 13th-place run in 19:51.61 led the way, while Lyla Graham was 15th in 19:58.99. Teammates Katie Doyle (18th, 20:15.72) and Ariana Moran (19th, 20:21.42) all placed in the top 20. North

MS Girls Cross Country Suburban League Championship Results

The Middle School Girls Cross Country Team wrapped up their season at the Suburban League Conference Championships on Saturday, October 10th, 2015. The Bears ended up finishing 10th out of 22 teams at the Stow Invitational. North Royalton’s girls finished third in a very good field at the Paul Primeau Invitational at Gilmour Academy. The Bears’ 80 points trailed the host Lancers’ 46 and runner-up Solon’s 69.
